Fine-Tune RC Tires with HUDY 103040 Abrasive Disks

The HUDY 103040 Abrasive Disk Set is built for RC hobbyists who expect repeatable results when truing tyres. Made to work with Slot Tire Truer and Micro Tire Truer units, these disks create a consistent abrasion surface that helps produce well balanced tyres for better lap consistency.

Precision Manufacturing for Repeatable Finish

These abrasive disks are pressed onto a CNC machined spindle shaft using a controlled process to ensure every disk has the same abrasive profile. That consistency is important to minimise vibration during grinding. Ball bearings are not supplied, so fitting the disk to high quality bearings will give the smoothest, most accurate shaping.

Wide Compatibility and Practical Use

The set pairs with a range of common tyre truers, offering a practical upgrade for racers and weekend builders alike. Whether you are trimming for race day balance or maintaining tyres for club runs, the HUDY disk helps you achieve a uniform finish for predictable handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are made to fit Slot Tire Truer and Micro Tire Truer setups, and will also suit other truers that accept the same disk diameter and spindle mounting.
Yes, ball bearings are required for mounting because they are not included. Using quality bearings reduces runout and improves the final tyre surface.
Replace them when the abrasive surface shows visible wear or the finish on your tyres becomes uneven; replacement frequency depends on how much truing you do.
