This HUDY 102591 sanding drum is an RC-scale accessory made to work with tire truer setups for shaping and finishing rubber or foam racing tyres. The P120 grain gives a balanced medium removal rate to refine tread profile while still leaving a prepared surface for track use.

Fitment is broadly compatible with truer mandrels and similar holding systems used in workshop truer rigs, so check your truer’s mounting style before fitting. Installation is simple: slide the drum onto your truer shaft or adapter and secure it with your truer’s standard retainer or collet.

During setup and tuning the P120 sanding drum removes minor imperfections, smooths bead edges, and helps establish a consistent contact patch so tyre behaviour becomes more predictable on track. Replace the drum when the abrasive wears smooth or glazes to keep trimming consistent.
