Safe storage and transit for your comm lathe

Built for the detail-minded hobbyist, the HUDY 101490 plastic box offers a tailored storage option for your comm lathe. The tough shell protects gear on the move and gives a stable base when the lathe is set up.

Firm mounting and vibration allowance

The HUDY plastic box uses matching top and bottom sections to enclose the comm lathe securely. The lower moulding is shaped to hold the lathe steady and reduce movement in transit. There is also a dedicated recess for an anti-vibration pad to improve stability and repeatable results while working.
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

Can I store other items in the box besides the lathe?

The HUDY 101490 plastic box is optimised for a comm lathe, so other tools may fit loosely. Small accessories can be stored, but the internal moulding is shaped for the lathe first.

Is an anti-vibration pad included with the box?

The anti-vibration pad is not supplied. The box includes space to place a pad of your choice to reduce shake and improve finish when the lathe is in use.
