HPI Savage / Savage X Alloy Front and Rear Body Post Mounts SAV1032A by GPM  [SAV1032A]

This aluminium alloy front and rear body post mount is a direct-fit accessory for HPI Savage and Savage X chassis, intended to replace the factory post assemblies. The unit pairs a machined alloy post with a captive spring and E-clips to keep the body seated while allowing fast ride height adjustments and controlled body movement during field tuning.

Fitting is straightforward on Savage frames that use removable body posts: the mount locates to the existing post position and secures with the provided E-clips, with the spring delivering vertical preload to reduce body bounce. The alloy parts are stiffer than standard plastic posts, helping preserve body alignment through rough terrain without impacting suspension geometry.

From a setup perspective, these mounts change how the body interfaces with the chassis rather than suspension settings. Increasing retention limits flap and lift at speed, while the spring preload lets the shell move freely on suspension travel to avoid binding. Intended for track and bash use on HPI Savage / Savage X models as an RC-scale upgrade component.
