Spring steel steering and support links

This RC-scale tie rod set is made for the HPI Racing SAVAGE XL FLUX platform and is supplied as a matched pair for front steering and rear support duties. Manufactured from spring steel, these links act as direct replacements for worn plastic or softer metal links and provide a stiffer steering response for precision tuning.

Fitting is straightforward for anyone comfortable replacing linkage: remove the existing tie rods from the steering knuckles and drag links, fit the spring steel replacements, and secure with the supplied fasteners. Verify thread engagement, apply moderate torque to avoid stripping, and check steering centring before completing the install.

As a tuning upgrade, spring steel reduces flex versus stock links and can sharpen steering feedback. Expect crisper input at the wheel but be prepared to tweak suspension geometry to manage any changes in bump steer or sensitivity.
