This 1/12 plastic kit recreates the 2003 Honda RC211V as seen at Valencia and is aimed at experienced model builders focused on display accuracy.
The real RC211V was Honda's V5-engined racing prototype during the early 2000s. In 2003 the machine combined a compact V5 powerplant with a chassis tuned for high-speed tracks. At the Valencia round a distinctive 1970s-style paint finish was applied and a triple-exit exhaust arrangement was trialed; the event also marked a notable final competition appearance for the rider associated with that season prior to a team change the next year.
Model features are described separately from the historical notes. The kit reproduces the Valencia-specific livery using high-quality Cartograf decals and includes mid-season parts such as the triple-exit exhaust without silencers. The frame and unit pro-link suspension are represented using metal-plated components. Engine detailing reflects the V5 layout and a metallic clutch cover is supplied. Upper and seat cowls plus the tank cover are fixed with small precision screws so they can be removed after assembly. The finished footprint measures approximately 172 mm in length and 50 mm in width.
A technically detailed 1/12 scale kit capturing the Valencia livery and a mid-season exhaust change, intended for builders pursuing an accurate display model.
