The Hobbywing Platinum 25A V4 and 40A V4 ESCs are built for pilots who demand accurate throttle response. Powered by a 32-bit processor running at 72MHz, these units provide consistent speed governing to help maintain stable and predictable motor behaviour in flight.

Adjustable Switch Mode BEC Options

Each model includes a switch mode BEC with selectable voltage settings. The Platinum 25A V4 supports 6V or 7.4V output, while the Platinum 40A V4 can be set from 5V up to 8V in 0.1V steps. They supply continuous currents of 3A and 7A and peak outputs of 7A and 18A respectively to reliably power servos.

DEO Technology for Smoother Throttle

DEO, or Driving Efficiency Optimization, improves throttle response and overall power efficiency. This helps reduce ESC temperature and can extend practical flight times under similar flying conditions.

Multiple Brake Modes for Realistic Handling

The ESCs offer several braking options including Reverse Brake, Normal Brake, Proportional Brake and Disabled Brake. These settings allow pilots to tailor landing feel and prop drag behaviour to match different airframes.

Built-in Protection Systems

These units include protections for ESC thermal overload, capacitor temperature, motor overload, throttle signal loss and low voltage cutoff to help prevent damage and extend component life.

Programmable with External Tools or App
