Compact flanged bearing for tight linkages

This Hirobo ball bearing set contains 2 pcs of flanged, open-type bearings sized 4 x 7 x 2 mm designed for RC-scale use. The compact flange helps locate the bearing in shallow housings and small bearing seats commonly found in model helicopters and other light RC assemblies.

Use notes: the open face allows easy visual checks and light lubrication during routine service, but it also leaves the rolling elements exposed to dust. Fit these where contamination can be minimised, such as small shafts, linkages, swashplate links, and other low-load rotating joints with limited space.

Installation tips: press the flange squarely into a matching seat to avoid deforming the inner race, confirm axial alignment after fitting, and spin the shaft to verify smooth rotation without binding before final reassembly. Replacing worn bearings can tighten up control linkages and restore crisp response to small cyclic inputs.
