A 1/12 scale assembly plastic model kit representing the Yamaha YZR500 in the Ralph Anderson Baribari Legend SP339 configuration, positioned as a display-oriented scale recreation for experienced builders.
The Yamaha YZR500 is part of Yamaha's high-performance 500cc racing motorcycle lineage developed for top-level Grand Prix competition. These 500cc two-stroke prototypes were engineered for peak speed and handling on international circuits, where manufacturers pushed chassis and engine design to meet extreme performance demands. The class advanced both machine design and rider technique under high-speed racing conditions.
Model description and kit notes are kept separate from the motorcycle history. The kit reproduces the subject in 1/12 scale and includes a white body shell and white wheel components. Clear parts are provided for windscreen and light lenses where applicable. Rubber tyres are supplied for realistic wheel appearance. The moulded parts total 171 pieces and the assembled dimensions are approximately 167mm long, 52mm wide and 95mm high. Paints and glue are not included.
Decal artwork and team markings reference the Lucky Strike Team Roberts livery and the #44 rider identity as noted in the original release information. Builders aiming for an accurate finish should allow time for fine-detail painting and precise decal placement to capture the period-correct race appearance. Typical assembly will require standard modelling adhesives and paints chosen to match the white body and wheel elements.
A finely detailed 1/12 scale recreation intended for collectors and experienced builders who prioritise period livery accuracy and display-standard finishing.
