This aftermarket roof skid rail is an RC-scale accessory made for the VANQUISH H10 Optic platform and supplied by GPM as H10015TOP. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the rail mounts to the top of the body to protect the shell edge and provide a stable contact surface where the body meets obstacles during transport and handling.
The kit ships with the main rails pre-assembled to speed fitting. Fasteners included are grade 12.9 black cap head screws (3x14) intended to secure the rail to existing body posts or mounting points. For consistent retention under vibration, a medium-strength screw adhesive is recommended to limit loosening while still allowing later removal.
In practical setup the part does two jobs: it shields the top-body edge from repeated impact and supplies a predictable wear surface that helps with body alignment checks after track runs. The alloy construction keeps weight low while resisting deformation compared with typical moulded trims.
Use the supplied grade 12.9 screws and apply a medium-strength screw glue when mounting to ensure stable retention; verify alignment with the body posts before final torque to keep fit consistent with H10 Optic chassis tolerances.
