Aluminium center differential and motor mount details

The XRAY 358787 aluminium center differential and motor mount assembly is engineered for the split differential mount layout used on compatible GTXE 2027 chassis. The design separates the motor mounting from the surrounding structure to provide direct access to the center differential, reducing disassembly time during setup changes or maintenance.

The motor mount features a revised interface and a dedicated motor mount holder that together improve support for the drivetrain under load and maintain alignment between motor pinion and spur gear. This helps preserve consistent drivetrain geometry when adjusting gear mesh or swapping components for tuning.

The complete assembly is CNC machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium to provide rigidity and dimensional precision. The material and machining approach target durable fitment and long-term stability without introducing additional moving parts or inserts.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This assembly is specified for use with the GTXE 2027 layout as indicated in the product details, so use the GTXE 2027 chassis guidance for fitment checks.
Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium is selected for its high stiffness and dimensional stability, helping keep drivetrain components aligned under load and resisting deformation over repeated use.
By separating the motor mounting from the surrounding frame, the layout allows direct access to the centre differential without removing adjacent modules, which reduces teardown time for adjustments and inspections.
The mount increases stiffness and maintains alignment, but standard gear mesh setup and verification remain necessary when fitting or adjusting the motor pinion and spur gear positions.
No special modification is expected when used with compatible GTXE 2027 configurations; follow the chassis assembly instructions for correct fastener torque and alignment procedures.
