Reinforced rear lower arm carbon plate

This carbon upper plate reinforces the rear lower suspension arm on GT/Xb8 scale cars, intended for RC use only. When paired with a lower carbon stiffener it increases lateral and torsional rigidity of the lower arm assembly, reducing unwanted flex under high load.

Reduced arm flex produces a freer-feeling rear suspension that helps maintain traction through cornering while preserving predictable handling balance. The part is aimed at setups for medium to high-traction tracks where extra arm stiffness can translate into improved corner speed without destabilizing the chassis.

Installation requires standard rear suspension disassembly and reassembly; use the existing mounting points on the lower arm and verify fastener fit before final tightening. Changes in arm stiffness will affect suspension tuning, so check toe, camber and shock settings after fitment and adjust incrementally.

Specifications

  • Item: Rear lower arm upper plate (2 pcs)
  • Material: Carbon
  • Model Number: 353195
  • Compatibility: GT/Xb8

For racers tuning rear-end feel on medium to high-traction surfaces, this plate offers a direct way to increase lower arm rigidity and refine corner entry and mid-corner behaviour without major chassis changes.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The plate is manufactured to match GT/Xb8 mounting geometry; always compare the part to your chassis mounting holes before final installation.
Expect reduced lateral and torsional arm flex, yielding crisper corner entry and steadier mid-corner rear traction on higher grip surfaces.
The design reuses the lower arm mounting points; check your parts list for included hardware and source matching fasteners if they are not supplied.
Yes. Increased arm stiffness alters suspension response; re-evaluate toe, camber and shock valving or spring rates and make small incremental changes.
On low-traction surfaces the added stiffness can reduce compliance and may harm traction; this part is optimised for medium to high grip.
Inspect visually for impact damage, check fastener torque regularly, and avoid over-tightening to prevent stressing the laminate.
