Aftermarket L-shape Piggy Back Shock for XRT 8S

This L-shape piggy back shock is an aftermarket replacement tailored for the TRAXXAS XRT 8S scale buggy to stabilise rebound and soak up impacts across rough surfaces.

The unit features a 6061-T6 aluminium body with a sealed shock-absorb cap to reduce leakage, and an internal piston spring inside the piggy back reservoir to help tune rebound feel. The damper shaft is polished and increased to 7.0mm diameter to lower bending risk versus the original 5.2mm shaft.

Fine adjustment is possible via the top spring retainer and the red adjustment screw at the base of the negative pressure oil cylinder, letting you alter preload and rebound bias without dismantling the shock. Supplied with replaceable 2.9mm silver coil springs, the damper will also accept the fitted 2.8mm black spring if you prefer to keep it.

Fitment note: these parts are made for front or rear installation on the stated TRAXXAS chassis; confirm mounting points and thread sizes before fitting and use correct shock oil and seals to prevent leaks and keep consistent performance.
