4mm Aluminium Chassis Plate for XO-1 Tuning

This main chassis plate is an aftermarket 4mm aluminium replacement for the TRAXXAS XO-1 platform, supplied as a single set with stainless steel mounting screws. The thicker aluminium gives a firmer baseline versus the stock composite plate and is intended to change chassis flex for suspension and balance tuning.

Fitting is straightforward but requires attention: align motor and gearbox mounts before final tightening, use the correct hex driver for the supplied screws, and torque gradually to avoid stripping threads or warping the plate. Because the chassis stiffness interacts with suspension and weight distribution, small setup adjustments can produce noticeable handling changes, typically a firmer feel and altered mid-corner balance.

This product is an aftermarket hop-up tailored for 1/7 to 1/8 scale speed models built on the XO-1 platform and is intended for hobby and track tuning use only. Do not use on real vehicles.
