This GPM upgrade set replaces the stock gear interface on TRAXXAS SLASH 4X4 Low-CG models prepared for the 68086-21 variant. The package combines a lightweight aluminium low-CG adapter with hardened steel spur and motor gears to improve mesh stability and reduce wear while keeping the original driveline layout.

The design intent is simple: retain a low centre of gravity with an aluminium adapter while using hardened 32-pitch steel gears to boost longevity and consistent engagement. The kit contains a 54T steel spur and a 17T steel motor gear, providing a defined gear pairing that is compatible with the Slash 4X4 68086-21 configuration.

For tune-up choices, the included 54T spur produces these driven ratios depending on motor pinion selection: 54T with 15T = 1:3.600, 54T with 16T = 1:3.375, 54T with 17T = 1:3.176, 54T with 18T = 1:3.000, 54T with 19T = 1:2.842, 54T with 20T = 1:2.700. The 17T pinion supplied offers a balanced compromise between acceleration and top speed for typical Slash 4X4 setups.
