This steel front CVD universal swing shaft features a spring steel cup joint and is supplied as 1pr for use on TRAXXAS Slash 4x4 RC trucks. It is an RC-scale replacement intended to carry drive torque from the gearbox to the front wheels while allowing axial and angular movement under load.

The component pairs a hardened steel shaft with a spring steel cup joint and is supplied as a matched pair for left and right front positions. Fit this part when renewing worn front drive elements or when upgrading to a steel-style CVD to preserve front drive geometry and consistency.

Installation notes: the shaft is designed to seat into the Slash 4x4 front CVD housings; confirm correct seating and smooth free rotation after fitting. During routine checks, inspect the cup joint for wear or deformation and ensure there is no binding in the front drivetrain before running the model.
