Compact 22mm alloy shocks made for AXIAL 1/30 SCX30 crawlers

This shock set is a complete RC-scale replacement and tuning kit for AXIAL 1/30 SCX30 crawlers. The package supplies four CNC-machined aluminum shock bodies with 22mm outer diameter designed to accept multiple spring rates and standard SCX30 mounting. The assembly supports use with or without shock oil; due to the compact dimensions, using a dedicated small-volume filling tool is recommended for oiled setups.

What spring rates come in the kit and how are they fitted?

The set ships with a medium spring pre-installed and two spare springs to test softer or stiffer setups. Springs are swapped by removing the end caps and changing the spring assembly on the 22mm bodies.

Do I need shock oil and how do I fill these small bodies?

Shock oil is not included. The shocks can run dry for a faster, lighter feel or be filled for damping. Because of the small internal volume, use a micro filler or syringe to control oil quantity and avoid air pockets.

Are any extra mounting parts required for installation?

Basic ball ends are supplied in the packing list; in most cases the vehicle's original lower mounting hardware can be reused. Check your vehicle for fit and reuse or replace small linkage parts as needed.
