Lock plate overview

This Alloy-7075 lock plate set is produced for HPI Savage 21 to secure the front and rear suspension arm pivots. The parts replace the standard arm lock plate pieces and are intended for RC-scale use only.

The plates mount to the vehicle using the stock arm pivot locations and factory hardware. On installation, confirm pivot pin alignment and torque the mounting screws to avoid damaging threads. The set covers both front and rear positions as listed in the title.

From a tuning viewpoint, a metal lock plate reduces flex at the arm pivot compared with thin plastic plates. That reduction in movement helps maintain suspension geometry under load, which is useful when fine tuning ride height, camber link settings, or shock mount positions on Savage 21 rigs.
