7075 Aluminum Shock End for PROMOTO-MX

This RC-scale replacement shock end is intended for LOSI PROMOTO-MX motorcycle platforms and is listed as part number MXDP/BE. Machined from 7075 aluminium, the item gives a tougher mounting point between the shock and the suspension linkage on 1/4 scale PROMOTO-MX bikes.

Fitment is simple: remove the worn lower shock mount and swap in this metal end when the factory plastic shows play or damage, or when you want a firmer, more repeatable pickup for suspension setup. Installation needs basic hobby hand tools and a short teardown of the shock lower mounting; always confirm fit against the compatible models shown below before final assembly.

What basic tools are required to change the shock end?

A small hex driver set, needle-nose pliers and a set of tweezers or picks cover most of the tasks for removing and refitting the lower shock mounting.

Will the MXDP/BE fit without modifying the shock body?

The part is designed for the listed PROMOTO-MX variants; if your shock is the stock LOSI unit the MXDP/BE should install without body modification. Double check the compatible models list to be sure.

Can a metal shock end reduce suspension slop?
