Bullet 3.0 front gearbox plate overview

This alloy front gearbox plate is made for the HPI Bullet 3.0 platform and is supplied as a single-piece set. It fits RC-scale nitro MT and ST models that use the WR8 or Bullet 3.0 front gearbox layout and replaces the factory plate when damage or a firmer alloy option is required for maintenance or track prep.

Fit and function: the plate secures the front gearbox assembly and keeps internal gears and bearings aligned across the WR8 / Bullet 3.0 front end. An alloy plate helps maintain consistent alignment under load and simplifies servicing of the gear train.

Installation notes: you will need to partially disassemble the front end to remove the original plate, transfer bearings or seals if required, and refit with the correct hex screws. Use common RC workshop tools such as a hex driver and small hand tools, check gear mesh and bearing seating during reassembly, and avoid over-torquing fasteners.

Compatibility and workshop role: aimed at owners repairing or refreshing WR8 and Bullet 3.0 nitro MT/ST cars, this plate is ideal for post-impact replacement, routine rebuilds, and situations where a stable gearbox alignment is desirable during setup changes.
