The SCX023 pendulum wheel knuckle and 21mm hex adapter from GPM is built for Axial SCX10 platforms and select Gmade models. The unit uses a bearing-supported pendulum with a Delrin sleeve and a tapered mass that keeps weight low in the wheel envelope to aid chassis stability during aggressive wheel angles.

Adding mass at the wheel hub increases traction and axle load when a wheel works inside a hole or negotiates shallow obstacles. The pendulum narrows toward the top and broadens at the bottom so the weighted section stays downward through suspension travel and steering, helping preserve ground contact under load.

Fit and design notes: the 21mm hex gives a wider hub flange than many stock hexes, and the pendulum rotates on a bearing with a Delrin collar to maintain smooth relative motion. The manufacturer states the combined single pendulum and hex weight is 54 grams, with the hex sized at 21mm.

Wheel and mounting requirements: intended for wheels with a 45mm inner diameter and needing a 5mm threaded hole for correct fastening. Confirm wheel inner diameter and thread dimensions before fitting.
