Rear alloy adjustable damper for EXO chassis

This adjustable rear spring damper is an RC-scale replacement designed for Axial Racing EXO models, supplied as 1pr and finished in alloy for chassis-level durability. It fits the rear shock mounts on EXO-spec machines and lets you set spring preload while maintaining low-speed damping and a progressive feel.

Installation is straightforward for hobbyists used to basic shock swaps: remove the stock rear dampers, mount the alloy units into the same rear shock mounts, secure with the original hardware and confirm travel clearance before the first run. Only common hex drivers are needed for fitment, and the part is intended for RC model use only.

Tuning focus is on matching spring preload and damping to vehicle weight and surface. Make small preload changes and run short tests to judge squat, rebound timing and traction; modest adjustments to preload noticeably affect rear balance during slow-scale crawling and trail driving.

They are made for EXO rear use but always confirm mount spacing and hardware compatibility before final installation to ensure a direct swap.
Start with the stock spring preload, run a short course to check travel and rebound, then adjust preload in small steps until squat and traction match your driving surface.
Keep mounting points clean, inspect bushings and hardware after rough runs, and recheck preload and clearance after the first few outings to confirm secure fitment.
