Designed as a direct replacement for the Associated RC18T, this Delrin 54-tooth main gear suits 1/18 scale 18T racers needing a service spare. Molded from Delrin, the single-piece gear is supplied as 1 pcs and fits standard stock gear mounts without modification in typical configurations.
Delrin delivers low friction and reasonable wear resistance for club racing and practice use. During fitment verify pinion mesh and smooth rotation under gearbox load; small motor height or pinion seating adjustments can reduce noise and extend life. This part is supplied as an aftermarket accessory for the stated platform.
To preserve original performance, replace worn gears with the identical 54T to keep the same final drive ratio. Check fasteners, bearings and shaft endplay when fitting a new spur to ensure consistent engagement and long service intervals.
