Gmade R1 Centre Skid Plate

This aluminium centre skid plate is supplied as a scale upgrade for the Gmade R1 platform. Its role is to protect the central underside of the chassis from scrapes and impacts commonly encountered during trail and rock running.

Installation mounts at the chassis centre using the vehicle's existing fixing points; check alignment and thread engagement when fitting to ensure the plate sits flush with the chassis rails. As an alloy component it offers a harder wearing surface than many stock plastic plates, and the red finish provides a clear visual reference for underside contact and wear during inspections.

Setup note: the part is primarily protective rather than a tuning component. It can alter the chassis underside contact profile slightly, so confirm clearance and skid behaviour after installation if you change ride height or suspension geometry for specific trail conditions.
