Silicone oil tuned for gear diffs

This product is an RC-scale silicone oil formulated for gear-type differentials in radio-controlled cars. It is a tuning fluid that alters internal damping and torque transfer inside gear diffs, giving precise control over handling balance without changing mechanical parts.

Application is simple: add or replace the oil inside the gear differential housing to change center, front, or rear differential behavior based on your chassis setup. Small viscosity changes can noticeably affect traction, roll and rotation characteristics; make incremental adjustments and log volumes used.

Installation notes: clean the differential internals and bearings before adding fresh oil to avoid contamination, work on a tidy surface, and cycle the diff after filling so the fluid settles around gears and cross pins. Use proper seals and gaskets to prevent leaks and check for foam or trapped air after filling.

Handling and storage: keep the bottle upright in a cool, dry location, ensure caps are tight, and avoid contact with painted surfaces since silicone oils can affect some paints and plastics. Dispose of leftover fluid according to local chemical waste rules.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Dot 7 refers to the labeled viscosity band; compared with lighter oils it increases damping inside the diff, slowing internal gear movement and shifting traction and rotation balance. Use it to achieve smoother weight transfer and turn-in response.
It is formulated for gear-type differentials. Check that your seals and casing accept silicone fluids, and perform a small test fill to confirm compatibility before a full change.
Remove old fluid, clean bearings and internals thoroughly, add new oil slowly to avoid pockets, then cycle the diff and recheck for leaks or foam before final setup.
