The Futaba S9602 is a high-speed, micro-size servo designed for RC aircraft that require quicker response and moderate torque. It is supplied with a J-style lead fitted for straightforward connection to standard Futaba-compatible receiver ports.
Internally the S9602 combines a coreless motor with metal gears and a dual ball bearing output shaft to give a tighter feel and improved repeatability versus basic plastic-gear micro servos. The case is black plastic and rated water resistant rather than waterproof, so avoid heavy moisture exposure.
Under sustained high-load, high-speed use the servo can draw substantial current. If you plan to run it from NiMH packs or LiPo batteries, make sure the battery and any BEC or regulator can supply the peak currents without causing voltage sag that would impair control.
Mount the S9602 using standard micro servo mounting points. The accessory bag includes vibration grommets and brass bushings plus a selection of screws and horns to match common horn patterns. When adjusting control throws for sailplanes and gliders, use small increments and check centring and travel on the bench before the first flight.
For replacement parts the case is listed as FUTM3065 and separate mounting hardware is available as FUTM2350; always fit and bench test each installation prior to flying.
