Futaba Type-C servo horn overview

The Futaba FUSHORN-C Type-C servo horn is an RC-scale accessory manufactured for standard Futaba servo outputs and supplied as a set of four without mounting screws. The part features a medium circular profile with a D6mm centre hole, and is suitable for steering arms, throttle linkages and other control connections on model cars, boats and aircraft.

In use the horn provides the mechanical interface between the servo output shaft and your model's linkage. Because screws are not included, select mounting hardware of the correct length that matches your servo output and the horn's D6mm centre hole. The lightweight profile and standard form make it a simple spare or replacement when adjusting mechanical throw, end points or direction using your transmitter and servo settings.

When fitting, ensure the horn seats flush on the servo splined shaft and that movement is free across the full travel to avoid binding. Use the servo adjustments in your transmitter to fine tune neutral and travel to achieve the desired steering or control response without imposing excessive load on the servo.
