S3001 Servo Replacement Shell

This replacement upper and bottom servo case is designed for Futaba S3001 servos and acts as a direct housing swap when the original plastic shell is cracked or worn. It is an RC-scale accessory intended to restore mechanical alignment and to protect internal components during routine maintenance.

Compatibility is limited to S3001-class servos as indicated by the product model name; installers should verify their servo model before ordering. The set provides the two main shell halves for the servo body only. Additional internal components such as gears, bearings, seals, or mounting hardware are not included and must be retained from the original unit or sourced separately.

Installation notes: power down and remove the servo from the model, document gear stack and potentiometer orientation, carefully transfer the internal gear train and electronic module into the replacement halves, then refit covers and screws. Take care with wiring and the potentiometer link to avoid altering neutral position; perform a neutral and travel check after reassembly.

Service and tuning benefit: replacing a damaged case reduces play caused by distorted mounting faces, preserves correct gear mesh geometry, and supports repeatable servo response after maintenance. Use this part when the original housing no longer secures internal components reliably.
