The Futaba CIU_2 provides a direct USB connection between a Windows PC and compatible Futaba speed controllers and gyros for configuration and data management. It is designed as an RC programming accessory to read, edit, and save setup parameters for MC401CR, MC601 and MC850C electronic speed controllers and the GY520 gyro.

Setup is simple: the CIU_2 includes a USB connector plus a 19.7in extension cable to reach equipment in common 1/10 - 1/8 scale car installations. The interface runs from normal USB bus power and interfaces with Futaba configuration tools on the supported Windows platforms listed below.

The unit focuses on parameter access and tuning rather than active motor control. Supported adjustments include variable frequency range selection, low battery cut thresholds, current limiter choices, brake duty limits and neutral brake settings. A logging feature lets you read and clear stored logs for diagnostics or tracking setup changes.

System requirements: a PC running Windows Vista, Windows XP, or Windows 2000 with an available USB port. Confirm your Futaba configuration software supports the listed OS before connecting the CIU_2.
