Tamiya Fukuiraptor 1/35 Clic Loc snap-fit display model

This 1/35 scale snap-together plastic model is offered in Tamiya's Clic Loc line and depicts the theropod Fukuiraptor as a compact, research-informed display subject suitable for hobby builders and collectors.

The actual Fukuiraptor was recovered from Early Cretaceous layers in Fukui Prefecture, Japan, with the primary specimen described from the Kitadani Formation. The holotype is estimated at roughly 4.7 meters long, interpreted as a carnivorous theropod featuring pronounced forelimb claws and long hind limbs consistent with an active predator.

The kit aims to reproduce the animal's proportions and surface texture with reference to academic sources. The head uses slide-molding to preserve fine tooth detail, and the claws and limb shapes are crisply molded. Parts are arranged to present a naturalistic static pose and the box includes a display base and human silhouette parts for scale context. A multi-page color leaflet supplies specimen background and suggested color references. Assembly does not require cement; parts are engineered to lock together in the Clic Loc snap-together format. The finished model measures about 118 mm in length as indicated in assembly notes.
