This 1/350 plastic assembly kit recreates the Imperial Japanese Navy fast battleship Haruna as a premium entry in Fujimi's warship range. The release highlights an externally accurate hull and superstructure profile intended for display-quality builds.
Haruna was one of four Kongo-class capital ships built for the Imperial Japanese Navy in the early 20th century. Laid down as a battlecruiser, she was later reconstructed with heavier armor and altered lines, which led to her classification as a fast battleship; she remained in frontline service through the 1930s and into the Second World War.
The Premium label points to improved external shaping and presentation. Builders should follow the instruction sheet for parts layout and painting guidance, and consult period photos and reference sources when planning rigging and fine finishing work.
A detailed silhouette-focused kit aimed at modellers and collectors who prioritise accurate external appearance and careful finishing.
