This 1/700 full-hull plastic model represents the Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft battleship Ise, issued as a special full-hull release for display-focused builders.

The Ise was one of two Ise-class battleships built in the World War I era and later modified in World War II with an aft flight deck to operate floatplanes, producing a hybrid battleship/aircraft carrier profile. The reconstruction traded some traditional superstructure for aviation capability and saw limited air operations late in the war.
