The Nissan Skyline GTR BNR32 earned its place in racing history through Group A competition in the early 1990s. This 1/12 scale kit from Fujimi recreates the 1992 Calsonic race livery driven by Team Impul and Kazuyoshi Hoshino, offering builders an accurate and engaging assembly project that highlights the car's motorsport pedigree.
The kit aims to mirror the real race car with faithful touches like the RB26 inline 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine. Functional doors and bonnet let you reveal the spartan racing cockpit and roll bar, while the underside of the chassis shows the front and rear suspension layout for an engineering-accurate display.
Fujimi has streamlined the build by reducing part count and using screws and metal components for key joins, helping create a solid finished model. Strong ABS resin is used for major panels, and die-cast pieces add weight and realism to moving elements like the steering. Opening panels and rotating wheels boost display options for model builders.
