Machined aluminium front knuckles for TT-02B/DF-02

This JR-TT2B01-BK front knuckle arm set is an RC-scale steering component made for TAMIYA TT-02B and DF-02 chassis layouts. Machined from aluminium and finished in black, the parts replace common plastic knuckles to increase rigidity where the steering links and wheel hubs attach. The units are intended as direct-fit upgrades for model-level tuning and do not alter vehicle scale systems beyond the chassis models specified.

Installation is straightforward for hobbyists familiar with basic front-suspension disassembly. Remove the stock knuckle arms from the hub carriers and fit the aluminium replacements, keeping track of the wheel hub pin, e-clip, and any shims or bearings that sit between the hub and knuckle. Confirm tie-rod alignment and verify the steering linkage clears the new arm through full suspension travel. No special tools beyond common hex drivers are required.

On-track, the aluminium knuckles give firmer steering feedback and more consistent geometry under load compared with softer plastic parts that can flex. This helps when refining toe, camber, and steering response for on-road or light off-road sessions. After the first runs, inspect mating surfaces and fasteners and re-tighten where necessary.

Yes. They are engineered to replace the stock knuckle arms on TT-02B and DF-02 front assemblies and install on the original hub carriers without hub modification.
In most cases the existing bearings and wheel pins are retained. Inspect fit and clearances during installation and reuse original hardware if it fits correctly.
Aluminium reduces flex at the steering joint, producing crisper steering feedback and steadier suspension geometry under load, which aids precise setup adjustments.
