Front and Rear Shock Guards

This two-pair RC-scale set protects front and rear shock bodies from grit, mud and impact scuffs during routine bashing and trail runs. The covers slide over the shock assembly to shield exposed shafts and seal areas while still allowing easy access for servicing and tuning. The parts are intended for model use only.

Installation is straightforward: compress or remove the spring as required by your shock design, slide the cover over the shock body, then refit the spring and retainer. Always confirm shaft clearance and full spring travel before running, and avoid forcing covers onto shocks that are too large or otherwise incompatible.

These covers serve as a sacrificial protective layer rather than a tuning item; they reduce debris ingress and can lower service frequency, but they do not alter spring rate or damping. Inspect covers regularly and replace any that show cracks or deformation that could restrict suspension movement.
