Aluminum shell lock kit

This aluminum body shell lock is an RC-scale securing accessory designed to stabilise and retain the vehicle shell while in use. The components are machined from aluminum 6061 T6 to deliver a lightweight mounting point with high tensile strength that resists bending and distortion under load.

The kit includes the locking pieces plus a single stainless steel round head screw for attaching at the shell mounting point, and serves as a direct replacement securing solution for the body shell area. By firming the shell connection, the mounts help reduce unwanted movement that can alter aerodynamics and clearances during hard driving.

Installation notes: parts attach at the body shell using the supplied screw and align to the factory shell holes. Basic hand tools are sufficient for fitting; verify alignment before final tightening to avoid stressing the shell material.

What items come with the HS005 kit?

The package contains two body shell lock pieces and one stainless steel round head screw sized for the designated shell attachment.

Do I need special tools to fit it?
