Ultra-soft springs tuned for KC10 shocks

A set of four Kyosho CLW009 Super Soft Springs made for KC10 chassis shock assemblies. These springs offer a much softer rate than stock, improving low-speed compliance and bump sensitivity on 1/10 scale electric RC cars.

Installation is straightforward: remove the shock from the car, disassemble the shock cap and shaft, swap in the CLW009 springs, and reassemble. Pair left and right springs if using staggered setups, and check the shaft moves freely before mounting the shock back to the chassis.

As a tuning element, these super soft springs reduce preload and increase suspension compliance, which can boost traction on rough or low-grip surfaces but may produce more body roll and less mid-corner support unless you adjust damping and preload accordingly.

Compatibility: Designed for KC10 chassis shock assemblies; use only where KC10-compatible shocks are specified.

Choose CLW009 springs when you want softer suspension response on KC10-based 1/10 setups, and confirm fit with your current shock components before completing reassembly.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are intended for KC10 chassis shock assemblies; verify your shock body diameter and shaft size match KC10 dimensions before fitting to ensure correct seating and travel.
Remove the shock from the vehicle, undo the shock cap, slide out the shaft assembly, replace the spring, then reassemble in reverse. Take care to retain seals and spacers in their original order.
Yes. If you run a staggered or tuned setup, match left and right springs according to your layout and confirm equal free length and shaft movement before reinstalling the shocks.
