This 48-tooth Delrin main (spur) gear fits the HPI Savage 21 platform and is supplied as one piece. It is a drivetrain component made from Delrin to balance low friction with wear resistance without asserting performance beyond its material characteristics.

For installation follow the Savage 21 chassis service routine: open the gearbox, remove the existing main gear assembly, inspect the mating gear teeth and bearings for wear, and fit the replacement gear while setting correct gear mesh. Verify backlash and mesh using standard checks rather than modifying other driveline parts.
