DIB Main Gear Shaft Collar Overview

This Yokomo YOKIB644C collar is made to locate and retain the main gear on DIB main gear assemblies used in RC models. It sits on the main gear shaft to control axial play and help maintain a stable mesh between the spur and pinion.

Installation is simple: slide the collar onto the shaft until it contacts the gear face or spacer as required by your chassis, then secure per your vehicle service routine to eliminate unwanted endplay. The blue finish makes spares easy to identify when you are prepping for a race day or routine maintenance.

When setting up drivetrains, the collar reduces shaft shift under load, helping to cut down on inconsistent engagement and gear noise, and improving overall drivetrain predictability during acceleration and braking.
