AUDI R8 LMS 2015 - Lightweight Racing Shell

This is an RC-scale, non-decorated body set by Kyosho, offered as a light weight option intended for FAZER Mk2 FZ02 on-road chassis use. The kit arrives unpainted and without decals, requiring trimming and finishing before it is track-ready.

Made for hobbyists who want a blank shell to alter weight distribution and aerodynamic elements, this light weight variant reduces overall mass compared with standard R8 shells while keeping the same silhouette. It is supplied as a direct-fit option for FAZER Mk2 FZ02 compatible setups so you can trial aerodynamic changes on on-road layouts.

Installation notes: because this is a bare body set you will need to cut, paint, and mount it to the model's body posts. Test-fit to FAZER Mk2 FZ02 mounting points before final trimming and verify steering and suspension clearance during test fitting.

Remark :

Measure and mark the body posts on the untrimmed shell, then make conservative cuts and re-test fit repeatedly to avoid over-cutting. Use a sharp hobby knife and fine sanding to refine the openings.
Mounting holes are not pre-drilled on this non-decorated set. You should mark the chassis body posts while the shell is temporarily positioned, then drill or punch holes to match.
If you plan on aggressive running, consider reinforcing stress points near mounts with clear tape or a thin support strip before painting. For light track use, careful trimming and mount placement often suffice.
After mounting, check for interference with full lock steering and full suspension compression. Rotate wheels and cycle suspension travel to confirm there is no rubbing before final finishing.
