This rear shock tower is made for the XRAY T4-20 chassis and is supplied as Factory Pro part O-XCP002. The graphite construction replaces the standard rear shock mounting plate to deliver a different mix of stiffness and controlled flex compared with common plastic parts. Its main purpose is to stabilise suspension geometry and let you dial in rear-end balance more precisely.
Installation uses the T4-20s existing rear shock mounting points and bolts into the standard locations on the chassis. When replacing the stock plate, check that shock eyelet alignment is correct and that the tower clears the bodywork and lower arms. Reuse the original hardware where possible and avoid over-tightening fasteners to prevent compressing the graphite.
Tuning notes: graphite typically raises torsional stiffness versus softer plastic mounts, which can change rear traction and roll behaviour. Expect subtle shifts in transient response; retune shock oil, spring rates and anti-roll bar settings in small steps after fitting. Before hitting the track, cycle the suspension through full travel and confirm there is no binding.
