Rigid aluminum motor mount for drift chassis

This SD-304L motor mount from Yokomo is a machined aluminum accessory made for use with the Drift Master platform at RC scale. It acts as a stable anchor for the motor, offering a firmer mounting surface than typical composite mounts, and is intended to increase repeatability when setting motor position or aligning drivetrain parts in drift setups.

The design prioritizes secure fastening and predictable alignment rather than adding extra brackets or features beyond the original Drift Master layout. In practice it holds the motor steady, simplifies small positional tweaks, and reduces slop that can upset spur and pinion engagement during drifting.

Installation notes: the component is intended to mate with the existing motor mounting area on the Drift Master chassis. When installing, check spur to pinion alignment, ensure there is no binding in the drivetrain, and confirm screws engage properly without over-torquing. Inspect fasteners after sessions to detect any loosening or wear before it affects handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The SD-304L is designed to align with the motor mounting points on the Drift Master chassis and accepts the same screw pattern used on that platform.
Check motor center-to-spur alignment, confirm the drivetrain turns freely after fitting, and tighten fasteners evenly without exceeding recommended torque to avoid thread damage.
