DPR Upper A-arm Front Shock Tower Overview

This Yokomo D-156F front shock tower is an RC-scale replacement part built for the DPR upper A-arm layout. It provides six selectable upper arm pivot locations to alter suspension geometry without changing arm or hub components.

Use the available pivot positions to adjust roll center and anti-dive characteristics, which affects steering feel and weight transfer during drift runs. The part is intended for hobby-level chassis setup and tuning on compatible DPR variants.

Installation is straightforward for hobbyists familiar with A-arm layouts: remove the original tower, align the selected pivot hole to match your current arm orientation, and secure with the original mounting hardware. No additional modifications to the chassis are required when fitting to the supported models listed below.

Compatibility

  • DP-DPRA
  • DP-DPRH
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Selecting different pivot holes moves the roll center and changes anti-dive, allowing you to fine-tune steering response and the way weight transfers during a drift.
The tower uses the stock mounting points for DP-DPRA and DP-DPRH, so in normal cases you can fit it without cutting or altering the chassis.
Although made with DPR drift tuning in mind, the pivot options are also beneficial for general suspension geometry adjustments on other setups.
