Graphite Rear Shock Tower for DPR Drift Kits

The Yokomo D-160 rear shock tower is an RC-scale graphite replacement made for DP-DPRA drift-package chassis layouts. It mounts the rear shocks and linkages and is engineered to influence rear roll stiffness and shock geometry while leaving other chassis parts unchanged.

This component is compatible only with DP-DPRA chassis. Supplied in black graphite, it is intended as a direct-fit rear tower for vehicles using the DPR drift package rear layout. Do not attempt to fit this tower to unrelated full-size equipment.

Installation notes: remove the existing rear shock tower, align the D-160 to the rear bulkhead and secure with the original mounting hardware. Verify shock eyelet heights and link alignment before final torque. After initial runs, recheck fasteners for tightness and inspect the graphite for any hairline cracks.

Tuning role: swapping to a graphite tower adjusts rear flex characteristics and can make rear responses more consistent under drift loads, helping drivers refine body roll and shock leverage. Use this part as one element in iterative setup adjustments rather than a standalone cure.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
If your model uses the DPR drift package rear layout and is listed as DP-DPRA, the D-160 is a direct fit. Confirm the DP-DPRA designation before ordering.
After initial track sessions, check mounting holes and shock eyelet areas for fine surface cracks. Replace the tower if any cracks extend beyond hairline surface marks.
Use the original mounting screws and stock spacers supplied with your chassis. Avoid longer or oversized fasteners that could concentrate stress in the graphite.
