DP-series Kingpin Collar Overview

The SD-414CA is an anodized aluminum kingpin collar made to fit standard RC front knuckle assemblies. It sits above and below the knuckle on the kingpin shaft to create a stable bearing surface and maintain consistent spacing between moving parts.

Fitting is simple: place one collar on the kingpin above the knuckle and the matching collar below, then confirm the knuckle turns freely before tightening any fasteners. After installation, sweep the steering through its full range to detect any binding and adjust shims or mounting hardware as needed.

On-track effect: these collars provide a durable contact surface that limits play at the kingpin interface and helps preserve steering geometry under load, supporting more repeatable steering response when you alter toe or caster settings.
