Compact D-Max bell crank overview

The Yokomo SD-202D is a steering bell crank designed for D-Max chassis use as a direct replacement or spare in RC-scale rigs. It links the servo output to the steering linkage, converting rotation into the sideways motion that turns the front wheels.

Made as a service part for the D-Max family, this component fits within the standard parts group and is used wherever an OEM-style bell crank is required. During installation, ensure the bell crank moves smoothly through its range, confirm correct pushrod length and ball stud engagement, and reuse the original mounting hardware when suitable.

On setup and tuning, the bell crank position and linkage geometry directly influence steering throw and centring. Small changes to arm length or ball stud placement adjust steering responsiveness and ackermann effect; make incremental adjustments and test on track to find the balance you prefer.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is sold as a steering bell crank for D-Max models and is intended as a standard replacement; check the mounting bosses and dimensions against your chassis before fitting to be certain of fitment.
No special tools are normally required beyond common hobby tools. Use the same fasteners and ball studs where possible and recheck rod lengths and linkage freeplay after installation.
Bell crank geometry affects steering throw and centring. Altering arm positions or link lengths will change response; make small adjustments, then test on track to dial in the handling you want.
