Overview: Slipper Pads for D-Max

This is a pair of slipper pads supplied as D-MAX standard parts for RC use, sold as 2 pcs. The pads are intended as direct replacement components for the slipper assembly on compatible D-Max kits, and they are produced to be installed on the slipper clutch where they provide the friction surface that affects engagement and slip characteristics.

There are two distinct faces to each pad, so correct orientation matters when installing: align the pad face that mates to the slipper hub and the pad face that contacts the clutch shoe as per your chassis layout. Incorrect orientation can change slip feel and wear patterns.

Installation notes: remove the slipper assembly, inspect the clutch shoes and mating surfaces for wear, fit the two pads in the same orientation as the originals, and re-check slipper preload and engagement after reassembly. Use progressive adjustments to slipper tension while testing on the track to establish desired launch and traction behavior.

Role in tuning: these pads are a small but direct way to alter slipper behaviour; swapping or reorienting pads can change initial bite and slip progression without altering springs or main hardware, so they are useful for incremental tuning during practice sessions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes. The item includes two slipper pads intended to replace the pair used in the slipper assembly.
Match the pad face to the mating hub and the clutch shoe surface per the kit layout; each face contacts different components, so fit them the same way the originals were positioned.
No. Pads fine-tune friction behavior and initial bite but do not replace adjustments to springs or core hardware; they are for incremental tuning only.
