Aluminum main gear cover crafted for D-MAX fitment

This SD-302DGC main gear cover from Yokomo is an RC-scale aluminum replacement designed for the D-MAX platform. It is supplied as standard with the D-MAX Special configuration, and its metal construction links with the motor mount to conduct heat away from the motor area, improving overall cooling during extended runs.

Installation is straightforward on chassis prepared for D-MAX parts, the cover mounts over the main gear area and aligns with existing mounting points so no chassis modification is required. The part plays a modest tuning role by helping control motor temperature, which can stabilise performance during longer sessions and reduce heat-related changes in motor behavior.

Beyond thermal benefits, the cover provides a neater appearance for the gearbox area while remaining explicitly an RC accessory, intended only for model use and not for any road vehicle application.
