Low-profile servo mount for tight chassis

The Yokomo YOKIB203A is an aluminum low-profile servo mount made for DIB-compatible RC chassis, finished in blue. It is a purpose-built accessory to reduce the installed height of a standard servo where deck clearance is constrained, focusing on compact placement and a stable mounting interface rather than changing servo internals.

Fitting is simple on DIB-pattern mounting points: position the mount over the servo tray holes, attach the servo to the bracket, and then secure the assembly to the chassis with the original fasteners. The component acts as a spacer and bracket to minimise contact with surrounding parts and to permit a slightly lower servo horn stance relative to the chassis deck.

For setup, the mount helps when body clearance or drivetrain components limit where the servo can sit. It enables modest servo repositioning without altering servo torque or speed; expected benefits are improved clearance and a small lowering of the center of gravity when the servo is mounted lower.

Specifications

  • Item: Aluminum low-profile servo mount
  • Material: Aluminum
  • Model Number: YOKIB203A
  • Compatibility: DIB-compatible chassis

This aluminium mount is a practical choice for DIB-pattern setups where vertical space is restricted; select it to achieve a lower-profile servo installation with a straightforward and robust mechanical fit.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Align the mount so its holes match the existing DIB-pattern points on your tray, fit the servo to the bracket first, then bolt the whole assembly to the chassis. Trial-fit before final tightening to confirm clearance.
Use the stock screws from your servo tray if they match the bracket holes; otherwise choose machine screws of the same thread and length as the original mounting hardware to avoid chassis damage.
Most installations do not require additional shims; however, minor shimming can be used to fine-tune horn height or to ensure no contact with nearby components. Check horn engagement and travel after mounting.
After installation, verify the servo horn clears the body and drivetrain through full travel, and recheck mounting screw torque after a few runs to ensure nothing has loosened.
