Concept 60 tail coupling overview

The Kyosho H6034 is an RC-scale tail drive coupling made as a direct replacement for the Concept 60 helicopter tail driveline. It connects the tail output shaft to the tail rotor drive and is intended for routine service or to replace worn components found during inspections.

Installation is straightforward for technicians familiar with tail assemblies: remove the tail boom access panel, inspect the existing coupling and mating shafts, then swap in the new coupling while checking alignment and fastener torque. Use appropriate hex drivers and follow the helicopter manufacturer's torque guidance for fasteners to avoid over-tightening the tail link points.

During tuning and maintenance the coupling helps maintain correct tail rotor drive alignment and reduce play that can cause tail oscillations. After fitting, verify tail pitch response and perform a ground rotor check before flight to confirm there is no binding and that the tail responds smoothly to controls.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is listed as the replacement tail driveline coupling for the Concept 60 series helicopters.
No special equipment is needed beyond basic RC hand tools and a hex driver set; ensure fastener torque is checked after installation.
Rotate the tail rotor by hand to check for smooth motion, verify there is no lateral play at the joint, and run a ground control response test before flight.
